Hein Vanhaezebrouck remains cautious. The former coach of La Gantoise thinks that qualification is not yet assured.
“I will spare you the details, but I fear that an additional team with ten points will be excluded from the top 24,” he explains in his analysis for The Newspaper.
With eleven points, they are sure to pass
If more than one team finishes with ten points, goal difference will make the decision. With a -2, Club Bruges is not in a favorable position, especially as there are two difficult matches remaining (Juventus and Man City).
Vanhaezebrouck is clear on the way forward: “With eleven points, they are sure to pass. They can even get a point against Juventus at home later. And why not?”
