20:50 CET – Well, the evening has only just begun. Up next, from the hour, seven more matches!
In the picks of the bunch, Atalanta host Real Madrid while Inter travel to Bayer Leverkusen.

PSV and Sporting are also in action – follow all the fixtures here.
20:39 CET – The other early game of the evening has finished goalless between Dinamo Zagreb and Celtic in Croatia. Both sides remain in the mix for the next round so while not ideal, a draw is palatable for both teams.
20:35 CET – Liverpool have continued their perfect start to the Champions League season with a 1-0 win over Girona in Spain thanks to Mohamed Salah’s second-half penalty – his 50th goal in the competition!

20:10 CET – Team news is coming in for the late games now and one of the more interesting match-ups sees red-hot Atalanta hosting Champions League holders Real Madrid.
You can see who’s starting in that match below – Los Blancos may have plenty of stars but they are looking a bit thin tonight with some key defenders missing.
20:03 CET – Liverpool have taken the lead over Girona thanks to, you guessed it, Mohamed Salah! The Egyptian star slotted home from the penalty spot after Luis Diaz was bundled over clumsily in the box.
That was Salah’s 50th Champions League goal, impressively.
19:50 CET – We’re back underway in both of tonight’s early games as all four teams look to find a breakthrough at the start of the second half.
19:38 CET – Half-time in both Girona and Zabreb and we remain goalless!
Girona and Liverpool created plenty of openings in the first half in Spain, but a combination of profligate finishing and excellent goalkeeping from Paulo Gazzaniga and Alisson has kept the contest tantalisingly poised heading into the second period.
Meanwhile, in Zagreb, it was a little more edgy, with Celtic dominating possession, although clear-cut chances came at a premium for both sides.
19:17 CET – We’re still goalless at the half-hour mark in both matches, with Girona settling well against Liverpool and Celtic edging proceedings at Dinamo Zagreb.
18:45 CET – Both early kick-offs are now underway in Europe as a big night begins here!
18:05 CET – It is worth noting that league leaders Liverpool can all but secure an all-important top-eight finish tonight with victory after a hugely impressive campaign until now. Slot has taken this side to new heights and has made Liverpool the team to beat in England and Europe.
17:55 CET – The line-ups are in for both early matches as Arne Slot goes strong! Check out the line-ups below:
17:30 CET – First up tonight, two of Britain’s biggest clubs Celtic and Liverpool are both on the road in tricky away games from 18:45 CET.
