On RMC, the former Girondins de striker now a consultant, Christophe Dugarryin Rothen S'enflamme, was invited to give his opinion on the fact that Philippe Diallo, as part of the Fédé election campaign, mentions subjects like the French team.

“We are in an election period, and what interests people is the French team, and the coach, because it is the showcase. I have the impression that Father Diallo is playing both sides a bit, one time he talks about Zizou 'just in case, you never know, to show that he exists, and that he is at listens to people who want to see Zizou at the head of the French team', but on the other hand he also spares Deschamps a little… He plays on both counts a little, by showing that he is perhaps a little more independent than Le Graët in the eyes of Didier Deschamps, and that it is not the latter who will decide. But we understood that this was not at all the case and that Deschamps was still the boss… However, it seems completely logical to me that he would talk about that, during an election period, because it interests people . It’s the showcase so if everything went wrong with the French team, we would be the first to criticize and say that we need to find solutions and make decisions.”
