In a video published on Instagram, Karine Le Marchand wanted to make a rant, denouncing the lack of concrete measures to improve the daily lives of farmers: “Tonight is the last of L'amour est dans le pré. Thank you all for your loyalty. Thank you to the farmers for making us dream with these beautiful love stories. I would like to take this opportunity to make a little rant to help farmers because we should not forget them from tomorrow morning until the agricultural show. There are very few measures that have been implemented, measures, over the past year. The promises were not kept.” Presumably annoyed, she also called for collective action: “I need your opinion. I have lots of ideas and I think that change can come from the industry but especially from hypermarkets. Do you agree if I make a petition to support a project? Would you support a large-scale petition to insist on hypermarkets saving French agriculture as a priority?“
Noémie, a farmer and former candidate for Love is in the meadow facing difficulties

But on the other hand, when we owe you things, when you do everything in order, well it doesn't follow behind, and we are the ones who pay the price..” Noémie had to make difficult decisions to provide for herself, starting with giving up the “project of his life” : “Last year was so complicated that we had to make choices. I made the choice to resell my land to be able to live a little. I knew that the construction project was no longer viable for me alone.”
