Three days after their qualification on penalties on the field of Orléans, resident of National (1-1, 2-4 tab), the players of La Roche Vendée Football experienced a second great happiness by discovering the draw of the 32es of the Coupe de France final, this Monday, December 2. The Yonnais will receive a Ligue 1 team, and not just any team, since it is Brest, which is playing in the Champions League this season, which will appear at the Henri-Desgrange stadium, the weekend of December 21. We are very honored to play against this team
recognizes Frédéric Reculeau.

Like many, the Vendée coach has appreciated the Bretons' progress since last season, with a superb third place in the Ligue 1 standings. This is a team that is always interesting to watch. Even more this year, continuing their journey last year.
This season, Eric Roy's men, currently 11es of Ligue 1, have not gone unnoticed since the start of their journey in the Champions League. 4-0 victory in Salzburg, draw against Leverkusen (1-1), success against Sparta Prague (1-2)… Beaten in Barcelona last week (3-0), the Brestois reacted immediately by beating Strasbourg in the championship (3-1).
“The boys will be happy and proud”
In short, a (very) serious client, who promises a gala evening at the Henri-Desgrange stadium. It has been a long time since the club met a team with a high standard in Desgrange, continues Frédéric Reculeau. It will give a little fervor back to this club, at this stage, and I think the club deserves it. It will create a dynamic. I hope that we will do the right thing and that we will live up to this meeting.
Currently 14es of National 2, the Yonnais players have a big month of December ahead (trip to Bourges and reception of Bordeaux), but should experience a nice reward at the end, in the Cup. I think the boys will be super happy and above all proud to be able to play this type of match
their coach knows.
Reculeau – Ajorque, the reunion
From a more personal point of view, the Yonnais technician is delighted to cross paths with Ludovic Ajorque, the Brest striker whom he trained at Luçon, during the 2015-2016 season. He's a boy who was in a very complicated period in his early career, he was coming out of a pretty strong failure. We picked him up in Luçon, we worked really well, and behind it, it was mainly him who did what was necessary to be able to bounce back. I'm really happy to find him, to meet him. He's a lovely boy… Whatever happens to him right now, he deserves it.
The Breton club's scorer could hurt the Vendée defense. But La Roche VF will play its cards to the limit to hope to win. When you look at the poster, it seems almost impossible. But the more we prepare for this match, the more we will give ourselves strength to be able to achieve the feat.
