And for good reason, we see Cyril Lignac moving in front of the projectors and cameras to put together one of the broadcasts of Everyone in the kitchen which you will discover from this Monday at 6:35 p.m. on M6.
The star of the kitchen has a very busy schedule in December, this burst of programs dedicated to festive menus is recorded in advance. “But we shoot in live conditions, specifies Cyril Lignac. Even if since the premiere, which took place during confinement, I have had to shoot more than three hundred numbers, it’s an exercise that requires rhythm and a lot of concentration.” The chef, and host, executes a recipe in real time in front of the cameras. These are previously chosen, written and tested in advance, so as to avoid the slightest problem when the recording is launched and no return is possible.
Offshore episodes, filmed under live conditions
As if the perfect simultaneous management of the jolts of his cooking plate, the mayonnaise to make and the onions to slice were not enough, Cyril Lignac also has to take care of several people. The first of them is none other than his friend, Jérôme Anthony. New this season, the latter travels across France aboard his “truck yum yum”.
He sets up in a village square (for example, the program on Monday December 16 was filmed from Pont-l'Évêque in Calvados) and prepares the recipe in the middle of the audience, not hesitating to interrupt the chef with a question that everyone is asking about a technical point of the recipe. “Jérôme is a friend. We have a great bond, but sometimes he annoys me a little when he interrupts me when I have to supervise everything in the kitchen (laughs)” ! Especially since Cyril Lignac must also create a link with those who are connected to the show, anonymous people and a personality every evening who makes the recipe, also in real time, from his kitchen.

“These simultaneous connections of lots of people with the show, we owe it to confinement, when meetings and appointments were done by video. They are connected as special envoys could be”adds Matthieu Jean-Toscani, producer of the show. And everyone really plays the game.
