Tulsa, OK – Dense patchy fog is creating reduced visibility across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas this morning, potentially impacting travel during the morning commute. Drivers should exercise caution, especially on bridges and overpasses where slick spots may form.

According to the National Weather Service, fog will dissipate by mid-morning as a cold front moves through the region, keeping temperatures below seasonal averages today. Daytime highs will reach the mid-40s, while overnight lows are expected to dip into the mid-20s. Conditions are set to warm by midweek, with temperatures peaking near 60 degrees by Wednesday, before another cold front brings cooler air to end the week.

Tuesday is forecast to be mostly sunny, with a high near 48°F and calm winds. By Wednesday, expect highs around 61°F with southwesterly breezes. Temperatures will cool slightly on Thursday, returning to the mid-40s with clear skies. Looking ahead to Friday, sunny weather persists, with highs near 48°F.

Drivers navigating Highways 169 and 244 should remain alert for sudden drops in visibility early today. Use low-beam headlights, reduce speed, and maintain distance from other vehicles.

Rain chances remain low this week, with only light precipitation expected in southeast Oklahoma on Friday. Northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas will stay mostly dry. Residents are encouraged to stay updated on weather changes, especially as cooler air returns later this week.
