Fiorentina-Inter will restart from the 18th minute, when everything stopped due to the illness that struck Bove. But the European and other calendars of the two teams do not suggest a recovery in the short term

It won't be easy to immediately find an available date to resume the match between Fiorentina and Inter from the 18th minute, when Bove fell ill on the pitch. The match of 14th day of the championship it will not be recovered before February 2025. He will start dealing with it tomorrow afternoon, Monday 2 December, the League Council.

The commitments of Viola and Nerazzurri are not few. Raffaele Palladino's team begins, which will play in the round of 16 of the Italian Cup with Empoli on Wednesday 4 December, in a Tuscan derby. The Nerazzurri, however, will play the first round of the championship on Friday 6 December against Parma at San Siro.

The Inter and Fiorentina calendar

In the following week both Inter and Fiorentina will be involved in the respective European competitions. The Nerazzurri in the Champions League; the Viola in Conference. In the coming week from 16 to 22 December, however, Inter will play on both Monday 16 (postponement of the championship at the Olimpico against Lazio) and Thursday 19 in the round of 16 of the Italian Cup against Udinese (scheduled for San Siro). On the same day, Fiorentina will take the field in the last match of the Conference groups against Guimaraes. For all these reasons we will talk about it again in 2025.

But, the Italian Super Cup is already on the calendar in January and international commitments: two rounds of the Champions League group stage (22 and 29 January). You get to February when there might be first useful date for the recovery of Fiorentina-Inter.

If both were to directly access the round of 16, there could be a good date in mid-February. Otherwise, it would be April. Without forgetting the recovery to be scheduled between Bologna and Milan, postponed to October due to the weather conditions and the bad weather that had hit Emilia-Romagna in those days.
