She is one of the great voices of French song since the Seventies: Véronique Sanson, a regular at the festival, is one of the most beautiful headliners of the 41st edition of the Francofolies de La Rochelle, which will be held from July 10 to 14, 2025.
The interpreter of “Drouille de vie” or “Amoureuse” will share the honors of the big stage Jean-Louis Foulquier with a few other female artists: Clara Luciani, whose latest album “Mon sang” is a huge critical success, La Femme, Hoshi or even Barbara Pravi.
This year, the La Rochelle festival has other headliners who are just as eagerly awaited: the pioneers of French rap IAM, the electro stars Air, the rocker Jean-Louis Aubert and even the great sensation of the last Olympic Games, Philippe Katerine.
Lovers of French song will also have the pleasure of discovering the melodic finesse of Alain Chamfort, Piers Faccini (with Ballake Sissoko) or that of the discreet but immense Quebecois Jorane.
The festival also announces a tribute to singer Dani. The participants are not yet known, but the wait is already immense.
