More than the new defeat conceded by PSG on the pitch of Bayern Munich, it is the general impression that emerges from the capital club which hurts Laure Boulleau.
Intractable in Ligue 1, PSG is experiencing a real ordeal in the Champions League this season. After an inaugural victory against Girona snatched at the last minute, the capital club suffered a series of disappointments. Tuesday, traveling to Munich, the French champions lost once again (1-0), suffering a third defeat in five matches and further compromising their chances of qualifying for the rest of the competition.
And if against Atletico Madrid three weeks ago, PSG had dominated the debates, erring through clumsiness, Luis Enrique's men this time seemed incapable of competing with Bayern Munich. This is the observation established by Laure Boulleau at the end of the meeting on the Canal Champions Club set.
Laure Boulleau lacking emotions
“I already had little hope because it was complicated for them to project themselves, to create chances, but after the red, ten against eleven, it was even more difficult for Paris Saint-Germain”she confided. But for the former PSG player, declared supporter of the Rouge et Bleu, the disappointment lies elsewhere: her favorite club no longer thrills her.
“What bothers me is that the more matches are repeated, the less emotion I have. When I watch PSG matches, I can't feel that little spark,
she regretted. I may be a big romantic but I want to feel something, even in matches where you can lose. There, the matches repeat themselves and I don't feel much. If they qualify, great, but I want to feel a lot more emotion than that. »
