Banned games : a masterpiece about two children of war
Banned games places its action during the exodus of June 1940, in the middle of the Second World War. Paulette, 5 years old, will lose her family following a raid targeting several civilian convoys. With the lifeless body of her dog pressed against her, the little girl from Paris will struggle to find her way through the fields. Marked, she will end up crossing paths with a certain Michel along a river. An 11 year old kid who will offer to help him and take him to the family farm. At first reluctant, the boy's father will end up coming to terms with Paulette's arrival. Little by little, the two children will form particularly strong bonds, taking care of building graves for dead animals.
