What happened in the Lithuanian sky? The German Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed, Monday, November 25, that the crash near Vilnius airport of a plane leaving from Germany could be “an accident or hybrid incident” linked to external intervention. This DHL cargo plane connecting Germany and Lithuania crashed while making an emergency landing on Monday morning.
“There were four crew members: two Spaniards, a German and a Lithuanian”, Julija Samorokovskaja, a spokesperson for the Vilnius police, told AFP earlier.. “One of the Spaniards was killed”while the injured were hospitalized.
“We have to ask ourselves (…) seriously whether it was an accident or, like last week, again a hybrid incident”said Annalena Baerbock, on the sidelines of a G7 meeting in Italy, referring to the recent rupture of two telecommunications cables in the Baltic Sea for which sabotage is not excluded.
