If you're having problems with Outlook, you're not alone. For a few hours this Monday, November 25, many users have been complaining about problems accessing Microsoft email.
“Outlook has been down since 8am this morning,” wrote a user on X (formerly Twitter). “Who is having problems with Outlook today?” asked another. As other users explained, some came across an error message saying “this service is unavailable.”
Global issues
These problems do not only concern Outlook, but all Microsoft 365 services (Word, Powerpoint, Teams, etc.), which has already been affected by several outages this year. On the Downdetector site, many users have reported outages, with a peak of 871 reports at 10:12 a.m. this Monday, November 25. In detail, the problems are mainly linked to Outlook (92%), in France, but also in other countries, such as Spain or the United States.
Aware of the problems encountered, Microsoft communicated on this subject. “We are investigating an issue affecting users trying to access Exchange Online (messaging service, editor’s note) or Microsoft Teams calendar features,” the company said on X (formerly Twitter). However, she did not mention any issues with Outlook.
