Ravaglia 5.5 It is the last bastion of a defense that has been suffering from the start. The punch rejections in the melee in the first half were appreciable and took some of the pressure off their teammates. He capitulates three times in the second half, without any specific faults: but he doesn’t work miracles either.
De Silvestri 5 With his leg and his heart in the first half he limits Pedro’s incursions. He collapses in the second half, when his turf becomes a land for others to conquer.
Beukema 6 Combative and ferocious, as befits those who see blue and white shirts appearing everywhere. He doesn’t close Gigot’s incursion at the far post: but in that pinball machine it’s not a serious fault.
Lucumi 5.5 Starter partly by choice and partly due to the fever that knocked out Casale at the last minute, he blocked a few balls with his head, lowering his helmet into the rossoblù trench. But it’s less granitic than usual.
Miranda 5 He draws the worst possible opponent, an in-the-moment Lazzari who never lets him see the ball. In constant trouble, if not completely absent, when Lazio is sinking on his side.
Freuler 6 He tries to maintain, often in vain, the balance of a department that suffers from the frenetic pace of Baroni’s three midfielders from the start. Some good defensive returns and an intelligent offensive line for Orsolini, in the first half, not exploited properly. Sufficient for self-sacrifice.
Orsolini 6 He is one of the few rossoblù capable of staying in the game even when the others have the ball, as often happens on the Olimpico pitch. In the first half he scored a high shot, an assist for Castro and a prodigious defensive save. Italiano doesn’t reward him, replacing him at half-time to rebalance the team: unfortunately he doesn’t succeed.
Odgaard 5.5 Journeyman attacking midfielder, fights for all the balls with the ‘garra’ of the midfielder. The offensive phase, however, did not arrive.
Karlsson 5 He tries to sting with some appreciable incursions, but like the whole team the time is on for a match.
Moro 5 You realize he’s on the pitch when he ‘heads’ the ball into his area which Gigot transforms into the 1-0.
Urbanski 5.5 Very complicated task, but he brings nothing.
Fabbian 5.5 Enter and leave no trace.
Dallinga 5.5 An unlikely heel.

Italian Coach 5 Bold choice of 4-2-3-1, which this time doesn’t pay off. Harakiri signed by Pobega, but the changes in the second half take away rather than add.
