It is rare on television. However, the singer Cali agreed to confide in Jordan de Luxe. Monday November 25, 2024, he was on the set of the show “Chez Jordan” to discuss the tragic death of his parents, his children and his career. But among all his subjects, the interpreter of “It’s When Happiness” also spoke about his state of health.

While several of his loved ones died of cancer, Cali revealed that he was very careful about his health. “The passage of time always makes me strange (…) My dad died at 56, his dad died at 56 and I am 56. I'll try to hold on until next year.” he declared. And even though his mother died of cancer when he was six years old, the singer wants to take stock of his state of health.

Cali: “I'm a drunk”

I promise my family to watch what's happening to my body. A few days ago I totally looked at what was happening in my body.” assured the guest of the day. As for the results? They are good! “Everything is fine. I even asked if he had made the wrong file.“Cali clarified with humor. As he then affirmed to Jordan de Luxe, he never lived in excess.

His only little sin? Alcohol. “I think I'm a drunk but compared to an alcoholic it's different. A drunkard loves drunkenness. It’s a moment we’re looking for. It's summer for me.” he explained. An artist at heart, Cali indeed likes to feel euphoric and exalted.

Cali: “I’m not afraid of death”

Note that during his appearance on C8, Cali also spoke about death. He who had to face the tragic disappearance of his parents is not afraid of the end. “JI no longer have the anxiety of my own death. Life must follow a logic: do not lose your children. I'm obviously afraid like all parents but mine doesn't scare me which allows me to enjoy life.” he concluded.
