Zulte Waregem was not surprised by red lantern Seraing. With 2 goals just before half time and 3 afterwards, Zulte Waregem had all their sheep on dry land after an hour. The standout was again Jelle Vossen with a hat trick.

Vossen made it 3-0 just after half-time and made it 4-0 from the penalty spot 5 minutes later with a panenka. The party was not over for Zulte Waregem yet. Just before the hour, Jeppe Erenbjerg provided the forfeit score.
They did not want to see that score at Seraing after 90 minutes and Mathieu Cachbach saved his team from total punishment with an honor saver. He secured the 5-1 final score with a penalty.
Zulte Waregem joins La Louvière in the lead in the Challenger Pro League. Seraing remains at the bottom of the rankings.
