Bruno Lage was a proud coach after the 7-0 victory, in the 4th round of the Portuguese Cup, against Estrela da Amadora. The Benfica coach related the number of goals to the tribute to Nené, who wore this number when he played for Benfica and celebrated another birthday a few days ago, while Di María was delighted with the collective performance of the Reds.

Perfect Display: “The most important thing was the performance we had. We had the objective of continuing our performance with FC Porto and we wanted to show strength in this new cycle. That's what happened. There was a period in which we exaggerated with the ball and we had to running too much backwards, but everything was corrected at half-time and the result appeared.
Less used players had minutes: “There are players who have played less and from 4-0 onwards we were able to give them opportunities. We are very happy to launch another boy from our base”.
Golos by Arthur Cabral: “We have to remember the game against Santa Clara. We were losing and the stands gave us support. Arthur was playing well, but he didn't score, and the confidence of the stands helped him score two goals. Passing positive energy and confidence to Inside, players can show themselves.”

Team display: “I believe it was a spectacular game, the team played incredibly well. After the game against FC Porto we had to show that the performance was meant to be continued and that's what we proved here.”
Permanence for the next season: “I'm still thinking about the moment, because there's a championship and two cups to win, as well as the Champions League. I'm very happy with everyone and then you can see the future.”
Otamendi situation: “That Otamendi stayed is also very important. He's happy, he has a contract and we know he wants to stay.”
