A winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 1:09 p.m. valid from 4 p.m. until Friday 4 p.m. for Cayuga, Onondaga and Oneida counties.
The weather service states, “Total snow accumulations between 4 and 7 inches in elevations above 1500 ft, and 1 to 3 inches in valley locations.”
“Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes,” describes the weather service. “Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.”
