STARTING TO FALL WITH THAT WIND, SO EXPECT SOME CHILLY CONDITIONS OUT THERE IF YOU ARE HEADING OUT BY TOMORROW, IT MAY FEEL LIKE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS WITH THE CHRISTMAS SNOW POTENTIAL IN THE FORECAST, SO WE’LL TALK ABOUT THAT HERE TOO. BUT FIRST LET’S TALK ABOUT THIS RAIN THAT’S BEEN MOVING THROUGH OUR AREA CURRENTLY WE HAVE STILL A FEW LIGHT LINGERING SHOWERS HERE AROUND PARTS OF CINCINNATI DOWN TO HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, COLD SPRINGS. THE HEAVIEST RAIN NOW MOVING ITS WAY OUT INTO PARTS OF NORTHERN CLERMONT COUNTY, RIGHT AROUND GOSHEN AREA. AND THEN INTO PARTS OF WARREN COUNTY AS WELL. JUST SOUTH OF SPRINGBORO. THERE, NORTH OF LEBANON, HEADING TOWARDS WAYNESVILLE, AND THEN, AS I MENTIONED, KIND OF SOUTHEAST OF MANVILLE. THERE MORROW DOWN TO BUTLER VILLE. SO THIS RAIN CONTINUING TO MOVE THROUGH JUST PROVIDING A KIND OF DREARY DAY, ALSO FROM HIGHLAND COUNTY, JUST MOVING OUT OF THAT AREA. BUT YOU’LL HAVE MORE RAIN TO COME WITH SOME OF THIS RAIN THAT’S MOVING THROUGH PARTS OF CINCINNATI. SO THIS WHOLE SYSTEM, WE HAVE THE FIRST PART MOVING THROUGH NOW, BRINGING US THE RAIN. THERE’LL BE SOME GUSTY WINDS IN THE IN BETWEEN AND THE CENTER OF LOW PRESSURE STILL UP HERE TO OUR NORTHWEST. THAT SNOW UP IN PARTS OF MINNESOTA WISCONSIN AREA. EVENTUALLY THAT’S GOING TO WRAP AROUND AND EVENTUALLY DRAG DOWN INTO OUR AREA, BRINGING US THAT SNOW THREAT THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT, BUT MORE INTO THURSDAY MORNING AND AGAIN INTO THURSDAY NIGHT, KIND OF SEVERAL BATCHES HERE. SO AS WE LOOK AT FUTURECAST, WE GET THROUGH THIS EVENING, WE’LL STILL HAVE CLOUDY SKIES FOR MOST OF THIS AFTERNOON. MAYBE SOME PEEKS OF SUN BETWEEN THE SYSTEMS. BUT AS WE HEAD TOWARDS THE CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING THERE FOR THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS, MOSTLY DRY, MAYBE A STRAY SPRINKLE OR A LIGHT MIST AS WE GET THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT THOUGH. HERE’S WHERE THE SNOW STARTS TO ARRIVE. SO FOR YOUR THURSDAY MORNING COMMUTE, WE’LL START TO SEE SOME SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS MOVING THROUGH OUR FORECAST AREA. NOW, MOST ROADWAYS SHOULD STAY MOSTLY WET, AT LEAST FOR THIS FIRST BATCH OF SNOW THAT COMES THROUGH. BUT YOU STILL WANT TO BE CAUTIOUS OUT THERE ON THE ROADWAYS. AS WE GET INTO THURSDAY EVENING. HERE’S ANOTHER BATCH OF SOME MORE HEAVY SNOW SHOWERS THAT COULD BE MOVING THROUGH OUR AREA FOR THE EVENING COMMUTE INTO THURSDAY NIGHT. THIS IS WHERE TEMPERATURES ARE CONTINUING TO DROP FURTHER THROUGH THE 30S, WITH BREEZY WINDS, SO YOU’LL DEFINITELY WANT TO KEEP AN EYE, ESPECIALLY ON THOSE BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES. BECAUSE WHILE GROUND TEMPERATURES ARE STILL PRETTY WARM FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR, BRIDGES, OVERPASSES, YOU CAN GET THAT AIR AROUND THEM MORE EASILY. AND THAT COULD CAUSE SOME SLICK SPOTS OUT THERE. SO WE’LL HAVE SOME OF THOSE SNOW SHOWERS MOVE THROUGH FOR THURSDAY NIGHT. BY FRIDAY, MOSTLY DRY, MAYBE A STRAY SHOWER OR TWO, MAYBE A FEW FLURRIES OUT THERE AS TEMPERATURES ARE STILL GOING TO BE REMAINING COLD. BUT WE SHOULD BE DRYING OUT AS WE GO THROUGHOUT THE DAY. ON FRIDAY. SO AS FAR AS SNOWFALL, SNOWFALL TOTALS, THIS IS MOSTLY ON GRASSY AND ELEVATED SURFACES. I MENTIONED THOSE GROUND TEMPERATURES EARLIER, SO A LOT OF IT MELTS ON CONTACT. BUT SOME OF THOSE SNOW, HEAVIER SNOW SHOWERS CAN OVERCOME THOSE TEMPERATURES. SO AROUND UP TO AN INCH POSSIBLE OR TWO INCHES TO AREAS OF OUR NORTH KIND OF NORTHEAST AREAS AROUND THE METRO THROUGH NORTHERN KENTUCKY, POTENTIALLY A COATING TO MAYBE AN INCH. AGAIN, IT’S GOING TO BE TOUGH TO OVERCOME SOME OF THOSE GROUND TEMPERATURES. SO TODAY, TEMPERATURES IN THE 40S, WE’RE STAYING CHILLY MOST OF THE DAY. HIGHS ONLY REALLY MAKING THEIR WAY INTO THE MID 50S THIS AFTERNOON. THURSDAY A VERY CHILLY DAY HERE. UPPER 30S IN THE FORECAST. OVERNIGHT LOWS INTO THE LOWER 30S. SO THAT’S WHERE WE’LL HAVE TO WATCH SOME OF THOSE BRIDGES. AND OVERPASSES AS TEMPERATURES GET NEAR AND BELOW THAT FREEZING LINE. THURSDAY NIGHT, THEN INTO FRIDAY MORNING FOR ANY PLAYOFF GAMES ON FRIDAY NIGHT, IT’S GOING TO BE A CHILLY ONE, BUT IT SHOULD BE MOSTLY DRY. BESIDES A SPOTTY RAIN CHANCE. AND THEN AS WE HEAD TOWARDS THIS WEEKEND, WE’LL HAVE MID T
