Mauritius wakes up under a gray and rainy sky. Bheki, a filling tropical depression, is located 115 km east of the sister island. It has already lost a lot of intensity and continues to weaken while heading at 20 km/h in a West-South-West direction.
Given the cloud masses associated with the phenomenon, Mauritius Meteorological Services has issued a heavy rain watch and strong wind and strong swell warnings, from Wednesday at 4 p.m. These alerts are in effect until 4 p.m. this Thursday.
