Algeria Football– Ali Bencheikh, former emblematic player of the Mouloudia Club of Algiers (MCA) and respected media figure, did not hide his dissatisfaction during his appearance on the set of the Elheddaf TV channel. Following the scenes of disorganization observed before the match between CR Belouizdad (CRB) and MCA, he sent a firm message to Walid Sadi, president of the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) and recently appointed Minister of Sports.
Bencheikh denounced the persistent use of physical counters for ticket sales, a method he considers outdated and inefficient. “I have a message for Walid Sadi. Tickets must be sold online and not at ticket counters as was the case once again for the CRB-MCA match of the day. We must move forward,” he declared insistently, before adding: “We must stop this cinema. »
These comments reflect his exasperation at an organization deemed unsuitable for the digital age and the expectations of supporters. Long queues and disorganization could, he said, have been avoided by adopting an online ticketing platform. Such an approach, already implemented in many neighboring countries and international competitions, would modernize the fan experience, streamline access to stadiums and guarantee better crowd management.
For Ali Bencheikh, this problem illustrates an urgent need to fundamentally reform the methods of managing major sporting events in Algeria. He calls on those responsible, including Walid Sadi, to draw inspiration from international standards to advance national football.
With this clear message, he invites leaders to take concrete measures to modernize the system, definitively turning their backs on practices that he describes as outdated.
