Since the end of August, viewers have been vibrating with the farmers of season 19 of Love is in the meadow. While the candidates have all made their choice among the two suitors they welcomed to the farm, some relationships seem more obvious than others. For Renaud and Gillou, the inseparable friends, things are going well and the two friends live beautiful love stories. But Ludovic, who had fallen for the dynamic and bubbly Mélanie from speed datinggoes through ups and downs. Very sensitive, the 29-year-old winemaker collapsed when choosing one of his two suitors. Finally, the young man from Occitanie admitted his weakness for Mélanie. A choice for which Ludovic seemed confident. Or not…
As shown in a sequence which will be broadcast during the episode of Monday, November 18, Ludovic bluntly announced to Mélanie by telephone that he preferred that they separate. The two lovebirds talk in the car and Mélanie recalls an episode that had a profound impact on her. “The moment when I had the most trouble and when I took ten steps back (…) was when you left me on the phone”, she confides to her dear one. Before opening your heart: “It gave me a big shock anyway”. Fortunately, their separation only lasted a short while. But Mélanie has not forgotten.
Ludovic would have decided to break up after a discussion with his mother
Facing the camera, the winemaker gives more explanations: “At one point, I wanted to break up with Mélanie because we could no longer communicate together. We didn't really understand each other anymore, I was in the dark and I couldn't see the end of the tunnel. Sometimes we're underwater and maybe I was clumsy.” The young woman does not hesitate to criticize the choice of her partner. “In my opinion, it was almost an immature decision”, says Mélanie. Sheepish, Ludovic justifies himself: “It was a decision that was made in haste.”.
But for Mélanie, if the young farmer wanted to separate from her, there was another reason that he did not admit. “I understood that there had mainly been the discussion with his mother, who had pushed for this decision. And that's where I felt a lot of pressure and I said to myself: 'this is going to be complicated'.”, she says in front of the camera. So, will Mélanie be able to convince Ludovic’s mother?
