SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – For the next few days the skies will be sunny and the humidity comfortably low. But sunshine will give way to increasing cloud cover Tuesday into Wednesday. We may even see a light shower overnight Tuesday or very early Wednesday morning as the humidity begins to increase. These chances of showers will be caused by a combination of an approaching strong cold front, moisture leftovers of former Tropical Strom Sara and, strong upper air support for a surface low diving into the deep south.

So, while today and tomorrow will be pleasant and comfortable, Wednesday could be a wet day with conditions disruptive to many peoples plans. At present we are not watching for a severe weather day, but due to the increased chance for rainfall occurring on a typically dry November day, it will be a Frist Alert Weather Day.

The First Alert Weather Day status will extend into Thursday when winds will pick-up turn north. Boating conditions will deteriorate, and much cooler and drier air will begin to filter into the area. Weekend nights could be in the low 50s and highs struggle to hit low 70s.
