Viktor Verhulst and Sarah Puttemans have been happily together for several years, but there are no wedding plans for the time being. Although Viktor is not yet engaged to Sarah, he expects that to change in the future. For Sarah, however, the proposal cannot just be a standard event.
In hun podcast Vik & Gert Viktor reveals that Sarah has great expectations for the marriage proposal. “They would find an airplane with a banner very cheap,” says Viktor. Yet he envisions an intimate and spontaneous approach. “I’m not going to plan it. At some point I will just feel it and be able to do it everywhere and nowhere.” .”
Doubts for Gert Verhulst
Father Gert Verhulst expresses his doubts about his son’s approach. “She won’t be satisfied with that,” he predicts. Viktor admits that it is difficult to set the bar high, especially after the special proposals he sees among his circle of friends. “A friend of mine rented an entire museum in Paris finished, with a pianist. Then you see it on Instagram and Sarah says: ‘Wow, that’s really nicely done, isn’t it?’”
For now, a proposal remains in the future. “I don’t have a plan yet, no ring and no appointment with a jeweler yet,” Viktor concludes. Patience seems to be the key word for Sarah for the time being.
