Sylvie Vartan bows out: “I’m starting to get tired, it’s time”

During this interview, Carole Bouquet notably discussed the film Grosse fatiguedirected by his late friend Michel Blanc. She told us that it was the iconic “Bronzé” which allowed her to shoot her first real comedy. “I can’t believe he’s gone, it’s impossible. This seems like a bad joke.”she begins, before continuing. “I have magical memories of this shoot, filled with laughter and complicity. In fact, at the time we saw each other often and laughed together very often. One day he said to me: ‘There is something seriously wrong. The woman I see on the screen is not the same as the one I chat with. It’s true that until then I was doing quite serious things and the directors weren’t thinking of me for a comedy. Michel dared, because he knew me very well. He knew it would suit me. He’s the one who allowed me to do comedy for the first time. We had so much fun that it was difficult for me to keep a straight face in certain scenes because he was so funny and talented.”she added.

The FIFCL will be held all this week until Sunday November 10. Very beautiful people are expected for the occasion. Apart from Carole Bouquet, we can cite Lambert Wilson, Gad Elmaleh, Benoît Poelvoorde and even Christian Clavier. Find the full festival program here.
