The sporting director of Napoli Giovanni Manna spoke to the microphones of Dazn. Here are his words.
MANNA. “We have certainly been consistent with our initial message, we are focused on our daily work and we will continue to say it because we really believe it. It’s a good championship, it shows that the level is rising because the teams in European competitions are doing very well, tonight we hope to live up to this wonderful stage. We have always said to stay positive by managing the good moments and also the difficult moments because it is part of a journey. We must not let the attention shift. We prepared the match well, then the matches are made up of details. We hope to have a good performance. Inter dominated this championship last year and in March they had already made their signing campaign, Atalanta won the Europa League and have a very good coach, we too are trying to work constructively, but there is a need of time. I don’t have to say it, we chose a coach to build and we chose the best coach possible. His CV speaks for itself, needless to say his value, but as the president said we are trying to start again. We can’t stop people from dreaming, but there may be bad moments“.
