Al-Ahly competes for the best in the world award with Real Madrid and City

Nice Koura writes: Globe Soccer, the organization organizing the Best in the World Awards ceremony in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council, revealed the list of competitors for the Best Club in the World award last season.

The list of competitors for the Best Club in the World award included the presence of Al-Ahly Club, along with another Arab representative, Al Ain of the Emirates, the holder of the AFC Champions League title, in addition to two Brazilian clubs, Botafogo and Atletico Mineiro.

Many prominent European clubs will also compete for this award, including Real Madrid of Spain, the holder of the Champions League title, Manchester City of England, the holder of the English Premier League title, and Atalanta of Italy, the holder of the European League title.

Also in the competition are German Bayer Leverkusen, the holder of the German League title, along with Olympiacos of Greece, Paris Saint-Germain, the holder of the French league title, Inter Milan of Italy, and Sporting Lisbon of Portugal.

Last season, Al-Ahly club won the African Champions League and the Egyptian League, and also won the Three Confederations Cup, Africa, Asia and the Pacific, after defeating Al-Ain of the United Arab Emirates with three unanswered goals in the quarter-finals of the Intercontinental Cup.

The Globe Soccer Organization announced that voting is open to fans around the world to choose the favorite candidate until December 10, with the awards ceremony being held on the 27th of the same month.
