Monday, November 11, Christine Bravo spoke to her Instagram subscribers to provide an update on her state of health. The host has indeed suffered a “horrible” operation to treat back problems, not failing to compare his pain to that of… his animals.
The end of great suffering. Last week, Christine Bravo lifted the veil from her Instagram subscribers on the illness that has been handicapping her for many months, she who went into exile in Corsica with her husband Stéphane Bachot. While doctors initially diagnosed her with a herniated disc, the host actually suffers from disc disease which almost prevented her from getting out of bed. “I lay in bed non-stop, on painkillers” she confided, even though she had been fitted with a metal corset to wear for 3 months. But nothing could be done, Christine Bravo had to go through the surgical operation box: “As you see me, you see me happy, because I'm totally stoned. I suffer terribly and I advise all people who suffer from L4/L5, these two vertebrae, to have an operation instead of doing infiltrationsgymnastics… and suffering and dragging it out”, she confided.
“When I think of the dignity of my goats”
The host therefore went under the knife last weekend and did not fail to keep her subscribers informed this Monday, in full recovery: “They just screwed me 2 titanium stakes between 2 vertebrae, L4/L5 level. It's called an arthrodesis. Does it hurt? NO, it's just HORRIBLE. Next to it, Ravaillac's pulling apart was tickling. Brief. Looks like it's going to pass” she confided, still from her hospital room.
More surprisingly, Christine Bravo wanted to compare her pain to that of… her goats in Corsica, attacked by a fox. “When I think of the dignity of my goats, who after being torn to pieces by a fox, did not moan, did not moan, did not cry…and that they smiled at the veterinarian while being stitched up, not to mention my dog gored by a wild boar, jaw hanging, who wagged his tail during his treatment, I find myself miserable” she adds. Laurent Ruquier's columnist will no doubt be eager to find the Big Heads to return to this particular moment.
