While the subject of anti-Semitism in France was being discussed in the National Assembly, rebellious deputy Sébastien Delogu described a person present in the chamber as “big trash”. At Cyril Hanouna's microphone, Jules Torres, journalist at “JDD”, reacted to this episode. Listen to the excerpt again. You can react at 01.80.20.39.21.
At the microphone of Cyril Hanouna, Jules Torres, journalist at JDD, returned to the new incident at the National Assembly involving the rebellious deputy, Sébastien Delogu. While Aurore Bergé, MP for Yvelines, spoke on the issue of anti-Semitism in France, two days before the high-security football match between France and Israel at the Stade de France, her speech was marked by the heckles from the elected officials of La France insoumise.
“Scum behavior”
At the end of the former minister's speech, we hear the rebellious MP Sébastien Delogu calling a person present in the hemicycle a “big piece of trash”. An insult probably directed towards the member for Yvelines, even if the latter said she did not know whether her colleague from Bouches-du-Rhône was speaking to her or to Bruno Retailleau who had also just spoken. Sébastien Delogu was then taken over by the vice-president of the National Assembly, Naïma Moutchou.
For the JDD journalist, this slippage. “We have deputies who behave like scum,” he declared. To illustrate his point, Jules Torres listed the problems with justice faced by deputies from Jean-Luc Mélenchon's party. “The reality is that LFI is no longer a political party, but a party of habitual criminals.”
