“I see it more as a loss”reacts the PS deputy, since some retirees will see their pensions drop. “When we see what they got into [comme augmentation du coût de la vie] for three years, with the rise in energy prices, with the rise in food prices, we must support small pensions but we must support them much more than that”demands the elected official from Calvados.

“We have a situation which is absolutely not satisfactory in terms of purchasing power, and also in terms of democracy”he adds. “I find it totally astonishing that it is Laurent Wauquiez who makes this announcement, it is not the Prime Minister”he recalls. “I did not see Laurent Wauquiez during the three weeks of budget debate even though that is theoretically his role”he tackles. “I am absolutely stunned by these bad manners towards democracy, by these people who refuse to use Parliament when that is where compromises should be made to lead our country”concludes Arthur Delaporte.
