The Calvados gendarmerie launched a call for witnessesMonday December 2, 2024 at the end of the day, to try to find Patrick Jan. This 71-year-old man has not been heard from since he left his home in Bény-sur-Mernext to Courseulles-sur-Mer (Calvados)the day before, Sunday December 1, around 12 p.m.
Disappearance considered worrying
His disappearance is considered worrying by investigators because the septuagenarian has left without phoneneither keys, nor means of payment or identity papers. Customary for Sunday walks, the man usually returns the same evening.
Patrick Jan is 1.90 tall, has gray hair and a beard. At the time of his disappearance, he was dressed in a navy blue jacket, khaki pants, hiking shoes and he was carrying a black backpack with green stripes.
