Bus strikes in -: the movement continues, no buses should run this Tuesday
Bus strikes in Cergy-Pontoise: the movement continues, no buses should run this Tuesday

“We are determined! » Bus drivers and FSO transport agents from the Francilité Seine et Oise (FSO) network are continuing the strike. No buses should still be circulating this Tuesday, the sixth day of the mobilization. In front of the Saint-Ouen-l'Aumône depot, where all the vehicles are stored, the strike picket is kept alert night and day. “There are even more people than before,” observes the representative of the FO union.

Since the start of the movement, no negotiations have made it possible to move the issue forward, with management wanting to wait for “a more serene atmosphere. » Ulcerated by the deterioration of their working conditions since the takeover of the network by the Lacroix & Savac group, the employees have decided to stop their service until they have promises of improvements.

A situation which puts users of the 32 lines of the network deployed in the agglomeration of - (Val-d'Oise) and Conflans-Sainte-Honorine () in great difficulty. To try to help travelers, the town of Pontoise has decided to put into service a “minimum free service” from November 12.

This is a shuttle linking Pontoise hospital to Cergy-Préfecture station, via Pontoise station. However, a very limited service which should not help FSO's approximately 80,000 daily users. Since the start of the school year in September, major malfunctions have already disrupted the daily life of the service. “We are asked to leave with piles of scrap metal,” regret the drivers.
