Real Sociedad – Barcelona | The notes and one by one of the Barça players against Real Sociedad

Smoothie

He had two good interventions from shots by Oyarzabal and Kubo but then he could do nothing against Becker's goal. After the break he made a bad clearance but he solved it with a great handball again to Oyarzabal.

Jules Koundé, Defensa5

Overshadowed

He was slow to react to Real Sociedad's goal, as he 'woke up' late after Sucic brushed the ball. From there it collapsed and had several major errors. Their lack of offensive creativity was noticeable after the break.

Pau Cubarsí, Defensa7

Fighter

Despite the impediment of the mask, he fought battle with his usual intensity and intelligence. He saved what could have been 2-0 in the last action of the first half. He had the goal in his head as soon as the second half began and then he was reliable in the build-up.

Íñigo Martínez, Defensa7

Solid

The Basque completed without errors and could do nothing in the 1-0 action. He suffered like the rest of the defense but not because of mistakes that had directly to do with him. In fact, he won duels and was always very attentive to his marks.

Alejandro Balde, Defensa6

Irregular

He went on the attack several times with some danger but later he was a bit soft in some defensive action in his lane. In the second half more of the same: good in changes of pace but very imprecise with the leather.

Marc Casadó, Centrocampista6

Delivered

As soon as the game started he saved a called goal by going to the ground in the small area. Despite his usual display, he lost a key duel with Sucic that led to Becker's goal. Attitude and order are never lacking, but this time it was a little grayer with the leather.

Frenkie de Jong, Centrocampista5

Depleted

He started off dynamic and vertical with interesting drives but then he hurt his ankle and didn't seem to be one hundred percent physically. He was replaced at half-time, leaving unpleasant sensations.

Pedri, Centrocampista6

Intermittent

He started with associations in the rival field but later appeared less when Barça had less possession. He tried a shot from the balcony of the area that ended in a corner. In the second half it could not be transcendent.

Fermín López, Centrocampista6

Intense

The Huelva native showed enthusiasm and nerve as always. He started on the right and then left the lime, but no scoring chance could be found. In the second half he had a goal in his boots but he finished up with everything in his favor.

Raphinha, Delantero5

Braking

The Brazilian was uncomfortable although he did not negotiate the effort. He had some dangerous change of pace but without being able to be as protagonist as he has been lately. After the break he did not gain prominence either.

Robert Lewandowski, Delantero5

Stolen

The Pole scored a completely legal goal but the VAR annulled it in an action that will cause a lot of queues. Afterwards he was imprecise in the controls and did not have any more opportunities.

Dani Olmo, Centrocampista7

Lucid

The former Leipzig player provided freshness and success in three quarters but this time he could not make a difference in the rival area.

Ansu Fati, Delantero5

Erratic

Frankly bad. It always generates a lot of expectations but then what happens on the pitch is another story. He had several losses shortly after entering and did not improve until the fourth action. The truth is that he did not deserve to continue having minutes.
