In a message posted on his Instagram account, the 78-year-old actor estimated that Mike Tyson (58 years old) would have spared Jake Paul (27 years old). “Business is business. Sometimes you have to sacrifice things for the sake of your family. I have known this incredible athlete since he was 19 and what we saw was him giving one of the best performances of all time, worthy of the Oscars,” wrote Rocky Balboa interpreter.
And according to Sylvester Stallone, “Iron Mike”, who pocketed a check for almost 20 million euros for this fight, would have held back his blows. “Please Jake, be grateful, he spared your life! Trust me…” he added before encouraging the American boxer, who has experienced health problems, not to hang up his gloves.
“Keep hitting Mike. There will never be a man like you, a gladiator like you, and a soul like you! Keep hitting, champion of champions! I remember one time I hit him and I thought I had been hit by a bulldozer going at full speed!!!,” he concluded.
