O Sporting beat Braga, 4-2this Sunday, November 10th, in a game counting for the 11th round of the Liga Portugal Betclic. In the meeting that marked Rúben Amorim’s farewell as technical command of the lions, the lions’ team struggled to beat Carlos Carvalhal’s team. See HERE how the match went.
In Minho, the arsenalists came out stronger and took the lead in the 21st minute. After a cross into the Lions’ area, there was confusion between El Ouazzani and Zeno Debast. Second place is occupied by Porto, which has 27 points, but one game less. In third place is Benfica with 22 (two games less).
Clube de Alvalade will only return to the field on Friday, November 22nd, against Amarante, in a game relating to the fourth round of the Portuguese Cup. The meeting against the team that competes in League 3 will mark João Pereira’s debut for the lions’ A team and will be played at 8:45 pm, in Alvalade.
