13:40 – There are only 20 minutes left until the first match of this year’s ATP Finals, and it will be played by Daniil Medvedev (28) and Taylor Fritz (27).

Somewhat surprisingly, the two have already met once: the Russian beat the American in sets heading to the Cincinnati Open in 2022. Fritz will have a good chance of avenging that defeat, having probably had the better season than his opponent.

13:00 – The Australian pair of Max Purcell and Jordan Thompson won the opening match of the doubles Nitto ATP Finals, taking place at the Inalpi Arena in Turin. Purcell and Thompson defeated Dutchman Wesley Koolhof and Croatian Nikola Mektic in straight sets. The final score was 7-6 (1), 6-3. In the afternoon, for the same group, Granollers/Zeballos and Heliovaara/Patten will compete.

11:10 – The adventure of the ATP Finals scheduled in Turin begins today. At 8.30pm Jannik Sinner, world number 1, will face Australian Alex De Minaur, number 8 in the ranking, in his debut. At 2.00 pm, however, Daniil Medvedev and Taylor Fritz will compete in the other clash in the same group.
