It was an important match which was played at Amédée-Domenech this Friday evening to close the 10th day. The 5th Brive received the 6th Colomiers, but remained in a rout at Valence Romans and a sluggish victory at home. For the opening of the Brive Book Fair, it was not necessary to spoil the party and the CAB was able to find the resources after the break to clearly win and with the offensive bonus (49-15) and 6 tries against a Colomiers completely swept away after returning from the locker room despite a first act to its clear advantage. Brive reassures itself and climbs to 4th place in the ranking.
A reception to reassure yourself! Brive welcomed Colomiers to its home field with a hitherto perfect record of 4 victories in 4 matches but did not show its muscles before the meeting. Colomiers then came as one of the best away teams while Brive had taken on water at Valence Romans eight days previously. Even Dax's reception had been complicated (15-13) the day before. After an insipid first period where Colomiers had dominated head and shoulders, the Brivistes were able to react perfectly, brilliantly, to atomize Colomiers at the cost of a sparkling second half. The reaction took a long time to get going but it came with an offensive bonus and a 4th place occupied in the Pro D2 rankings. A great way to open the Book Fair, the other event of the day in Corrèze.
