Former Take That singer Robbie Williams and legendary Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page are back at it, reigniting their ten-year property feud, this time over an arguably sick Norway maple.

According to reports, Williams filed a request to the city council of Kensington and Chelsea to have a an “infested” tree in his garden removed, citing a tree surgeon who says the Norway maple is plagued by honey fungus.
Though Page is not mentioned in an objection to the request filed by a neighbor, it certainly is on brand for the Led Zeppelin guitarist, who in the past has filed complaints over his neighbor’s yard work and other renovations to his multi-million dollar property.
“There is no explanation as to why this tree need be felled, only a series of photos showing parts of it are damaged,” the latest objection reads. “Should there not be a written report that accompanies each proposed felling and what courses of action could be done before the final resort of felling this tree?”
On top of this latest row, Page had words in the past with Williams over the singer’s plan to build a 20-foot fence and an underground swimming pool/gym, claiming the vibrations from the work would catastrophically damage the ancient paintings and frescoes in his home. Robbie was eventually granted permission to renovate, but Jimmy, determined to “fight against” the “threat” to his mansion, got some reprieve when it was ruled builders could only use hand tools.
