He’s an incredible guy.” In his victory speech, held late in the night from Tuesday November 5 to Wednesday November 6, Donald Trump did not fail to praise one man: Elon Musk. And for good reason: the tech mogul played a decisive role in the New York businessman's fanfare return to the White House.

“Let us remember that, since July 13, the day of the failed attack against Donald Trump and his declared support for him, Elon Musk, an American of South African origin, has worked tirelessly,” writes the Swiss newspaper Time.

The one who assured in March that he would not financially support any presidential candidate ultimately became the main donor to Donald Trump's campaign. According to the Federal Election Commission, Elon Musk made donations amounting to approximately $132 million (122 million euros) to Donald Trump and the Republicans.
