Clash with Natasha St-Pier: Does Inès Reg regret her participation in Dancing with the Stars?

By participating in Dancing with the Stars, Inès Reg was far from imagining that she would be at the heart of the controversy. Guest on the set of Cliqueon Canal+, the 32-year-old comedian returned to her clash with Natasha St Pier which marked the season. Faced with Mouloud Achour, she says: “I swear, I took it like a vacation. I thought it would be sequins and dresses every Friday night, like when I was little, but in a 300,000 version. In fact, it reminded me that life is not a game. Looking back, the actress regrets not having listened to herself more before agreeing to walk the TF1 dance floor: “I watched videos where I told my team that it was not a good idea. Since then, everyone listens to me more when I express reluctance.”

Far from having recovered from her altercation with the singer, whom she accuses of having insulted her “slut” during rehearsals, Inès Reg confesses: “I was really sad for a really long time.”. So much so that the young woman explains that she consulted a therapist specializing in shiatsu, a Japanese massage technique, to try to recover: “She told me I would feel better the day I thanked Natasha.” A step that she took, not without difficulty, to turn the page. Today, even if she declares to be “happy” and having found a balance, the comedian does not hide his frustration: “What drives me crazy is that we made a story about something that I never wanted to give importance to. And as a result, I find myself still talking about it, and it pisses people off as much as me”.

Ingès Reg clarifies accusations of racism

As for the accusations of racism against her teams, Inès Reg would like to correct certain details: “I never said that I was a victim of racism. My mistake was not to clarify things in the moment, perhaps by laughing about it in a story”. She also explains that she did not understand the singer's reaction to her team: “She told me she had no problem with me but that my team scared her. I talked to her to find out why. I asked her if it was the fact that they were black and Arabs, she told me no, that's not it (…). It's hard to believe because my team is laughing with everyone. She told me that I scared her, then that it was. was my confidence that scared him because I have confidence in myself, and finally that it was my team…”

Before adding: “My mistake as a comedian was not to speak out about the many horrible messages and death threats received. I should have joked about it, grabbed my phone and made a story saying, 'Oh, you guys don't know what happened to me today. The girl who sings You will find – I even have his 2 track CD at home – told me I was a little slut!' We would have made a joke and it would have been funny, and that's it.” It was therefore on advice from outside that she decided not to speak publicly at the time of the events: “I was told don't talk about it, keep going straight, move forward, it's jealousy. That's what I did, but I was insulted every day.”
