Donald Trump gave his last campaign speech before the US elections without the support of his wife Melania and daughter Ivanka.
The most important thing in brief
- Donald Trump gave his final campaign speech a few hours ago.
- However, wife Melania and daughter Ivanka did not attend the event.
- In any case, the two hardly showed up during Trump’s election campaign this time.

The family of Donald Trump (78) appeared at a campaign event in the US state of Michigan on Tuesday. What was noticeable, however, was the absence of two members: Melania (54) and Ivanka Trump (43).
His children Donald Trump Jr. (46), Eric Trump (40) and Tiffany Trump (31) were all present and gave a speech at the former president’s event.
Lara (42), Eric’s wife, and Tiffany in particular tried to appeal to female voters. Because they could be decisive for the outcome of the US election, as pollsters suspect.

Trump’s son Eric said of his 78-year-old father: “I can tell you that as a son, as a family, we have never been so proud of a person in our lives.”
Melania hasn’t been seen since the infamous Madison Square Garden rally last week. Daughter Ivanka, on the other hand, stayed out of the election campaign from the start. During the speech, however, Donald Trump said: “And Ivanka is sitting at home and watching every second of this.”
Ivanka and Melania hardly appear at the election campaign
Ivanka is a businesswoman and recently celebrated her 43rd birthday with an Instagram post full of wisdom – without any mention of her father or the upcoming election. Her husband Jared Kushner (43) had already emphasized: There was “zero chance” that she would support her father in the run-up to the end of the election campaign.
Shortly after her birthday, she attended a Taylor Swift (34) concert in Miami with her eldest daughter Arabella (13). This came just days after Donald Trump announced on his social media platform Truth Social: “I hate Taylor Swift!” Swift had previously announced that she would vote for Kamala Harris (60).

It is unlikely that Ivanka will return to the White House if her father wins the election. Nevertheless, an insider told the Daily Mail that the potential future first daughter might have a smaller stake.
The source says: “I can’t imagine she would do anything that would take her away from Florida and her family.” However, it is hinted that Ivanka might occasionally take on representative duties. For example, by representing her father on trips abroad or by participating in special projects.

Trump’s wife Melania was also rarely seen in the election campaign. One of her few public appearances was her speech in Manhattan at the end of October. She was introduced by Tesla CEO Elon Musk (53) and received a standing ovation.
The former first lady spoke for just five minutes. She focused more on a vision for the country than on political issues. Her husband Donald, however, emphasized that it would be an “honor” to win New York. He warned that a vote for Kamala Harris represented a “risk.”
Donald Trump can rely on his daughter-in-law
Despite Melania and Ivanka’s absence, other members of the Trump family were actively involved in the campaign. For example, daughter-in-law Lara Trump appeared at an event in Pennsylvania. There she promised voters the “best comeback ever.”
Tiffany also made her presence felt: In a social media post, she made it clear what positions her father represents. Among other things, his support for artificial insemination (IVF) – and called for people to vote.
