A few hours before the start of the American presidential election, scheduled for Tuesday, November 5, candidate Donald Trump published a campaign clip, in which he directly attacks Imane Khelif.

In his campaign clip, posted Sunday, November 3 on the X platform and viewed by millions of people, Trump addresses his electoral base while criticizing the mandate of outgoing president, Joe Biden, with strong words. “ Four years ago we took a wrong turn and lost our goal… ”, we can hear at the beginning of the clip.
Throughout the one-minute segment, the speech paints a bleak picture of the country’s situation over the past four years. At the 29th second of the video, an image of the Algerian Olympic champion, celebrating one of these victories at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, appears on the screen.
At this moment, the voice-over is heard saying, still in the dramatic tone of the sequence: “ Men could beat women and win medals, but there was no prize for the guy who got up every day to do his job ».
This is clearly a new attack against Imane Khelif who, let us remember, went through a difficult period during the Paris 2024 Olympics, against the backdrop of an odious global campaign of denigration and cyberharassment.
