To pay tribute to his idol, David Guetta shared a photo of the two of them. He wrote on Twitter: “It's hard to find the words to express the impact Quincy Jones had on me, and on music and culture in general. Quincy wasn't just a legend, he was an inspiration, a pioneer and a true genius.

And to add concerning the illustrious producer: “He produced my favorite album of all time, 'Thriller' by Michael Jacksonan album that set the standard for what music could be, blending genres and pushing boundaries.”.

David Guetta reports that he had a very easy contact with Quincy Jones. He, who has a career in the United States, reports: “I had the honor of meeting Quincy, notably at the Grammy Awards, where we even had the chance to speak in French, a language he mastered so well.”.

And for good reason, during his training, before becoming an award-winning star, Quincy Jones had followed training in . He had left segregationist America for a time, to settle in and go to the classes of the illustrious Nadia Boulangerat the Conservatory.
