Graham Potter believes we are now truly seeing the quality that one Chelsea player has in his latest comments about him this week.
Potter, who will soon be looking to get back into management himself, has been speaking a lot about Chelsea in recent weeks as he has seemingly come out of a bit of a Football hiatus after being sacked as Chelsea head coach.
EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea pick main candidate for new full back transfer pursuit!
The Chelsea job just seemed too much for Potter and to be honest, he arrived at the club during a very turmoil time and things were not settled at all. He was good at Brighton, and Chelsea went all in to bring him in to the club, despite reservations from many Chelsea fans from those within the game.
One player that Potter will know very well though because he had him at Brighton, is midfielder Moises Caicedo. And the former Chelsea head coach has now been raving about Caicedo in his latest comments on Chelsea this week.
Now seeing the quality
Potter believes it is only now that we are really seeing the true quality that Caicedo has, in words picked up by Football London.
Potter said on Caicedo:
“He’s a really nice person. Humble, wants to learn and improve and fight for the team.
“As a human being he’s top, really pleased for him. I think it’s only natural that there’s pressure. The team is trying to function better than it was, he’s come in at £100m or whatever it was and you expect a lot for that type of money.
“Moises isn’t really that type of player. Most of the time he’s the guy who lets other players play better, gets in good positions, can deal with big spaces, wins the ball back. Now you’re seeing the quality that he has.”
