Ruud van Nistelrooy has chosen to start with Rasmus Hojlund as his centre forward for today’s crucial Premier League match against Chelsea at Old Trafford.
The interim manager went with Joshua Zirkzee on Wednesday against Leicester but his countryman failed to make much impact despite United scoring five past the Foxes.
Hojlund will be flanked by Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho again, with Bruno Fernandes occupying the number 10 spot. Unconfirmed reports suggest Rashford and Garnacho will be reversed, with the England man playing on the left wing and the Argentine on the right.
Elsewhere, Andre Onana returns in goal.
Lisandro Martinez returns to centre back alongside Matthijs de Ligt. Noussair Mazraoui comes in for Victor Lindelof and Diogo Dalot continues at full back, although whether that is left or right is as yet unclear.
Casemiro and Manuel Ugarte continue in central midfield after their excellent performances in midweek.
Christian Eriksen clearly did not recover from injury in time as he is not named on the bench. Harry Maguire, Leny Yoro, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, Kobbie Mainoo and Antony are also unavailable.
Academy fringe stars Toby Collyer and Dan Gore are also injured.
This leaves a threadbare bench comprising Altay Bayindir, Harry Amass, Jonny Evans, Lindelof, Jayce Fitzgerald, Jack Fletcher, Amad, Zirkzee and Ethan Wheatley.
A win for United could lift them into the top half of the table if Spurs lose to Aston Villa.
Kick off at Old Trafford this afternoon is at 4.30pm GMT.
