Lukeba is out at short notice
The bad news: Castello Lukeba, who led the defense together with Willi Orban, is out due to muscular problems. For this, Lukas Klostermann moves into the first eleven.
RB starts with a five-man chain, which has not yet been formed like this. Henrichs starts as a right rail player, while Antonio Nusa takes over the left rail. Lutsharel Geertruida starts as a left half-back in the back three for the first time.
In defensive midfield, coach Marco Rose chose Arthur Vermeeren over Kevin Kampl from the start.
Sabitzer starts at BVB
Dortmund are missing a total of ten players, but the first eleven is still tough. The former RB captain Marcel Sabitzer, who was recently injured, can play somewhat surprisingly from the start and will probably start at six.
RB Leipzig: Gulacsi – Klostermann, Orban, Geertruida – Henrichs, Vermeeren, Haidara, Nusa – Baumgartner – Openda, Sesko.
Bank: Zingerle, Vandevoordt – Bitshiabu, Elmas, Poulsen, Seiwald, Silva, Ouedraogo, Kampl.
Borussia Dortmund: Meyer – Groß, Can, Schlotterbeck, Bensebaini – Nmecha, Sabitzer, Beier, Brandt, Gittens – Guirassy.
