James Gray has lined up an A-list cast for his next feature Paper Tiger.

Adam Driver, Jeremy Strong and Anne Hathaway are set to star in the film package that is based on an original script from Gray. Vincent Maraval and Kim Fox’s banner Veterans will oversee international sales rights next week at the American Film Market, with CAA Media Finance representing domestic rights.

Leone Film Group is fully financing the movie that Raffaella Leone is producing alongside Rodrigo Teixeira for RT Features.

Principal photography is set to begin in early 2025 for the crime film that centers on two brothers who get wrapped up in a scheme that is not quite what it seems. Their bond is tested as they get embroiled in a world of violence and corruption, finding themselves in the crosshairs of the Russian “Mafiya.”

Driver is a two-time Oscar-nominated actor who has recently wrapped production on the Jim Jarmusch-helmed feature Father, Mother, Sister, Brother. His recent titles include Megalopolis, Ferrari, 65 and White Noise.

Gray most recently directed the 2022 drama feature Armageddon Time that starred Hathaway and Strong. He previously helmed Ad Astra and The Lost City of Z.

Hathaway was recently seen in Amazon’s movie The Idea of Youand her next projects include Flowervale Street, Mother Mary and Princess Diaries 3. Strong, who broke out with Successionrecently appeared in The Apprentice and will soon be seen in the Bruce Springsteen biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere.

Gray is represented by CAA and Jackoway Austen. Driver is repped by MWE and Sloane Offer. Strong is repped by WME, Sugar23 and Hansen Jacobson. Hathaway is repped by CAA, Entertainment 360 and Sloane Offer.
