VfB Stuttgart earned a point against reigning German champions Bayer Leverkusen. At the end of a hard-fought game in which Bayer coach Xabi Alonso's team was significantly better, the score was 0-0 (0-0). A lucky point for the Swabians, who were able to thank Alexander Nübel in particular. The goalkeeper saved time and again in dire need and saved his Stuttgart team from defeat, which VfB couldn't have complained about. While the Hoeneß team only had four shots on goal, the Werkself had several great chances. But the Swabians are happy to take this point with them.
