Many of them, moved, came to leave gifts in front of a black and white photo of the 31-year-old singer placed against a parapet. Fans also sang One Direction songs together, accompanied by a guitarist present on site.

This Sunday, numerous tributes to Liam Payne were also organized in several cities around the world such as New York or Stocklom but also in the United Kingdom, where the artist was from.

Liam Payne died on October 16 at the age of 31 after falling from the balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in a context of “consumption of alcohol and narcotics”, according to the first results of the investigation.

His death sparked a flood of tributes from the music world, starting with his four friends and ex-members of One Direction – Niall, Harry, Zayn and Louis who published a joint statement in which they indicate that they are “completely devastated” by the tragic death of their former colleague.

Simon Cowellcreator of the British show X Factor which allowed One Direction to make their musical debut in 2010, also said he was “devastated” and “very saddened” by this loss.
