PSG-Strasbourg (4-2): announcements at the Park microphone do not stop homophobic chants in the stands

The clasico between OM and PSG will only be played next Sunday on the pitch of the Vélodrome, but it has already started in the stands of the Parc des Princes. This Saturday, while the Rouges et Bleus hosted on their lawn, the Parisian ultras ended the meeting with a series of songs hostile to their long-time enemies, including one including several homophobic insults.

In this song, well known for many years in the stands of the Parc des princes to the tune of “ Darla dirladada “, the supporters intone: “the Marseillais are bastards, sons of bastards, bastards, and by the c… we will hang them, yes but c… they don’t have any. »

This song, sung at the top of its voice to the applause of the entire Parc des Princes, lasted for very long minutes at the end of the match. To the point that the evening speaker (Hervé Koller, tested for the first time on the microphone after Miguel Derennes at the start of the season) intervened twice to make him stop.

The first time, he simply recalled that the Parc des Princes was a “gathering place”, united in the fight against homophobia and all discrimination. The second time, he explicitly asked the turn to stop singing this song… An instruction which was not received five out of five, since the melody resumed with a vengeance in the process.

At the end of 2023, this same chant had already caused serious trouble for the Auteuil stand, causing an outcry and a national controversy over homophobia in the football stands. The LFP disciplinary committee had sanctioned the Auteuil stand with two closing matches, one of which was suspended.
